Come on, Chelsea!
I'm off to the Fox and Hounds with my Brosef today to watch Chelsea take on Rosenborg in Champions League action (on ESPN2 at 11:30am PST). They better win 'cause it's my birthday (and I'll cry if I want to)!
P.S. I love you, John Terry!

Off to the Desert!
Hillz and I are off to Palm Springs today to visit our fabulous friend (and acclaimed singer) Michael Allen!
P.S. I hear that Robby Ginepri has been doing some off-season training in the Desert-area. Hmmm...

Shopping, sweetie!
Look out, it's Black Friday! Happy Shopping to those brave souls who are going to hit the (physical) stores today. However, if you're an online shopper like moi, please refer to my previous post on holiday online shopping for some helpful tips.
Speaking of online shopping, a couple of great sites that I really dig (and am not "affiliated" with) are THE SPOON SISTERS and FRED FLARE. They both have tons of cute crap and are therefore rather dangerous...

England vs. Croatia
THE BIG game between England and Croatia is today! England only needs a draw to qualify for the Euro 2008 tournament. I have strong ties to both countries, but since Croatia has already qualified, I can comfortably root for England! Unfortunately the game is only available on pay-per-view, but perhaps I'll mosey on over to a local pub to try and see the game.

Kano!
I love the English rapper, Kano, and I'm dying to get my hands on his second cd "London Town". Unfortunately however, his new cd isn't out in the States, and I'm too cheap to buy it as an import. BUT, my good friend, AJ, said that she'd try and pick up a copy for me while she's on tour with LOOKER in the UK.
In the meantime, check out the video for Kano's new single "Feel Free" (featuring Damon Albarn):

What to watch today?
Hmm, what do I watch today?
1) The 2007 MLS Cup between the New England Revolution and the Houston Dynamo (on ABC at 9am PST) OR
2) The final of the Tennis Masters Cup between Roger Federer and David Ferrer (on ESPN2 at 9am PST)?
I'll switch back and forth OF COURSE! But, I'm probably a little more interested in the tennis, as I want David Ferrer to PLEASE upset Roger (again). I don't have a favorite between the two MLS teams, but I guess I should root for New England 'cause 1) I like that neck of the woods better and 2) their goalkeeper, Matt Reiss, is a UCLA alum!
P.S. Wish Lady Sophie and me luck! Later this afternoon, we'll be playing in a Thanksgiving dubz tourney!

LHK Sporting News
1) England beat Austria 1-0 yesterday in an international friendly, with David Beckham providing the corner kick leading to Peter Crouch's winning header. BUT unfortunately, Michael Owen suffered YET ANOTHER injury! Poor baby.
2) There are some big Euro 2008 qualifying games happening today:
- Israel vs. Russia; airing live on FSC at 9:55am PST. This game affects England's chances; stressful!
- Spain vs. Sweden; airing live on GolTV at 12:55pm PST. Both teams have hot players; it's practically soft porn!
- Scotland vs. Italy; airing live on RAI International at 8:45am PST. I don't getz this channel; boo!
Visit soccerTV.com for additional info.
3) In the semi-finals of the Tennis Masters Cup, Rafa takes on Roger, and Andy takes on David (Ferrer, that is).

Friday Movie Review
Bill and I rallied tonight and caught a random early evening screening of the movie ELEVEN MEN OUT. As soon as Bill told me about this Icelandic gay soccer movie, I knew I had to see it! Although there unfortunately wasn't much soccer in the movie, there was a fair amount of male nudity, and the lead actor looked like a male model. It really doesn't take much to make this Lady Hooligan happy!
P.S. Lady Lorelei sent me a link to a saucy fragrance she found online called LADY VENGEANCE! Hee-hee!

Crazy Robertson!
Crazy Robertson, a Los Angeles icon, has been immortalized on a line of tees! Skate on, Crazy!
P.S. England takes on Austria today in an international soccer friendly, but the game is only being aired on Setanta CCTV; boo!

New Music (&DVD) Tuesday
Thankfully, we have a lot of cool new music today. Here are some singles that I'm excited about:
Sia's "Day Too Soon"
The Bird and the Bee's "Carol of the Bells"
Kylie Minogue also has a new single out "2 Hearts" (I'm not sure about this one; you be the judge)
These albums look good too:
Some great DVDs come out today as well:
P.S. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TYSON!

More Important But...
I know there are more important things in the world, but...
1) No new movie today; off to CARDIO TENNIS instead (again).
2) David Beckham has been called up for national team duty.
3) Justine Henin's vengeful double-bagel victory over Marion Bartoli at the Sony Ericsson Championships yesterday in Madrid was just brutal.
4) Former Chelsea FC player, Ruud Gullit, has been named the new LA Galaxy manager. Although I like this move, I still refuse to renew my season tickets.
5) Speaking of my beloved Blues, Chelsea takes on Everton on Sunday (airing live on Setanta at 6am PST). Come on, Chelsea!
6) And finally, here's some random eye-candy for your Friday. Hot and cheezy UK singer, Shayne Ward, showing us some shirtless hooligan luv:

Random Thursday News
1) Chelsea FC has launched their official American website; RED, WHITE and TRUE BLUE! You know it!
2) Tennis has gone cray-gee, and Tommy Haas really just has terrible luck! His newest misfortune: he might have been poisoned during a Davis Cup semi-final against Russia. To quote my friend's Grandma, "Oh, Brother!"
3) Have you heard of the search engine GoodSearch? Well, it's actually the Yahoo! search engine, but every time you do a search through GoodSearch, you can help a charity. Please check it out.
4) My condolences to the Kuerten family on the passing of Guga's younger brother, Guilherme.

Well, it's slim pickins in the music department today, but here are some funny new Christmas albums that caught my eye:
And these DVDs look really good...
P.S. The new Spice Girls single "Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)" came out yesterday, and it's kind of lame. Sorry, BT. Check it out for yourself:

The Sony Ericsson Championships start tomorrow (Nov. 6th) in Madrid. VERSUS will be airing the matches between the WTA's top 8 ladies. Let's hope someone actually challenges Justine Henin!
Speaking of Madrid, Jelena Jankovic was invited to play tennis on a soccer pitch! Oh, a Lady Hooligan can dream...

Meryl Streep as Julia Child!
Meryl Streep is set to portray Julia Child in the flick JULIE & JULIA. I'd see anything Meryl Streep is in!
With the holidays around the corner...
It's November! I'm in the mood for cooler weather, holiday music and holiday SHOPPING (sweetie) too of course! With that said, let me tell you about some LHK blog partners that I'd love for you to keep in mind if/when you do some online spending:
1) Amazon.com sells pretty much everything, and I think their gift certificates rule (hint, hint)! And, if you have an Amazon wish-list, please update it (you know who you are).
2) I heart iTunes!
3) Beauty.com seems to have a wider selection than Sephora (at least online), and they have free shipping too (with a lower min. purchase req than Sephora).
4) Speaking of make-up, if you want to try some fun & cheap products, check out e.l.f. cosmetics:
5) Finally, you can't go wrong with snacks and sweets from The Popcorn Factory!
Yes, I'm "affiliated" with all of the random companies listed above. So if you shop through the links on my blog (listed above, in various posts and in the right-hand column permanently), a tiny % of the sale comes in to help support the LH site costs.
BUT, let's put the material crap aside for a moment. I don't know about you, but I like to give some charitable donations as gifts every year. Some organizations that I'd like to recommend are:
1) The Amanda Foundation rescues dogs and cats from City & County shelters and finds loving homes for them.
2) The Surfrider Foundation is an environmental organization dedicated to protecting the world's oceans.
3) Children's Hospital Los Angeles is also a wonderful and worthy institution.
4) And, the new organization that has caught my attention is KIVA, which I've mentioned before.
Thanks as always! I'm done rambling for now...
