Movie Update

My pals and I caught THE SEPTEMBER ISSUE tonight, and it was surprisingly good. As a Vogue reader, the glimpse into how the biggest issue of the year is put together was quite fascinating.

The movie's soundtrack was also fun, and there were even tennis references! It was delightful.

U.S. Open

Congrats to both Kim Clijsters and Juan Martin Del Potro for winning the 2009 U.S. Open Championships!

It was such a relief to see them win the titles, and as a result, I'm happily not suffering from any grand slam withdrawal.

My three favorite tennis players are playing their first-round U.S. Open matches today. I really was tempted to fly to New York last night and spend the day with them at the U.S. Open. But, I decided to stay home from work today and watch them from the comfort of my air-conditioned bedroom instead.
