The Injury Blues

John Terry didn't play in yesterday's Community Shield game not because of his broken toe (which he suffered in a pre-season game in California) but because of a new knee injury that will keep him out of the line-up for ONE MONTH!!! This is such a blow to Chelsea and to the start of their season. Here's hoping John gets better soon and the new CFC signings can defend valiantly in his absence.

Speaking of injuries, Sweet Cheeks is still out for another ten days or so. All I care about is that he's healthy to play in the Galaxy home games that I have tickets to (from August 23rd on).


On the topic of sweet cheeks, there's a fabulous rumor going around that Becks and Robbie Williams may play a trendy gay couple on the TV show Desperate Housewives!?!? Oh, a Lady Hooligan can dream...
