- The goddess Ann Wilson from HEART releases her (believe it or not) FIRST-ever solo album (of mainly covers), Hope & Glory,
today. Rufus Wainwright, Elton John, and Nancy Wilson all make guest appearances on the c.d.- Kanye West's third album Graduation
(which will apparently battle 50 Cent's new release Curtis
for the top spot on the charts) also features some cool collaborations. I love the Daft Punk sampled "Stronger" and am looking forward to hearing Coldplay's Chris Martin on "Homecoming".- Speaking of third albums, Canada's Hot Hot Heat haven't disappointed me with their first two albums. So, I'm really looking forward to more of their energized rock on Happiness Ltd.
As far as DVDs, it's slim pickins today. But at least, Grey's Anatomy - The Complete Third Season
comes out today. Speaking of Grey's, the show's newest music soundtrack compilation (which has some great artists on it) is out today too: Grey's Anatomy, Vol. 3.
P.S. I'm not trying to ignore the significance of Patriot Day, but today is actually my Mum's birthday too. So, I always celebrate HER on the 11th.
